Our Commitment to You During COVID-19

Dear Members of the FSO Community:

The health and wellbeing of our audience members, musicians, singers, guest artists and staff are a high priority for the Firelands Symphony Orchestra.  We are equally concerned for the welfare of our beloved Firelands community.

We have been closely monitoring the recent outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the guidelines presented by Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health. In response to the Governor’s Executive Order to prohibit large gatherings, the FSO is postponing the Essence of Beethoven Concert on March 22nd and the Havana Nights Concert on March 28th  We will notify you as these concerts are rescheduled and your tickets for the shows will be honored.

Given how quickly the health situation is evolving, we will continue to monitor conditions as they change, and make decisions on future events based on information and recommendations from state and local agencies committed to keeping us all safe.

Please check the FSO website, Facebook page, and local media for the latest information about upcoming FSO concerts and events. You may call the FSO office (419) 621-4800 if you have any questions. We will maintain an updated announcement on the voicemail regarding future closures.

The FSO is financially dependent on its performances, so we take decisions to postpone or cancel events very seriously.  We are especially appreciative of our generous patrons who will consider donating tickets which they purchased for these concerts. The generosity of the Firelands area community has made it possible for the FSO to serve its mission to enrich lives through music.  Now, as always, we are grateful for our donor’s support.

Thank you for your support of the FSO and being part of the community effort to slow the spread of COVID 19.  Stay healthy!

Sincerely,

Firelands Symphony Orchestra
