The first classical concert of the season offers a range of music highlighting light and happiness to curb the mid-winter blues, including Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”. The full orchestra will be joined by guest artist Sterling Elliott, winner of the Senior Division of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition. This gifted cellist will perform Saint-Saëns’ Havanaise, and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody. Together, we will go through a beautiful musical expedition of discovery, enlightenment, and hope for the future.
