Tim Hampton is a percussionist who plays and teaches in the Cleveland area. In addition to playing with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, he performs regularly with the Northcoast Men’s Chorus and is the timpanist for St Stanislaus Catholic Church. Tim has performed with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Erie Philharmonic, Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, and Mansfield Symphony Orchestra. He is the percussion advisor for the Lakewood High School marching band, teaches percussion lessons at Lakewood High School and the Lakewood middle schools, and maintains a private teaching studio in his home. He was recently named Director of Children and Youth Music for Lakewood Congregational Church. 

Tim has a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Music degree from Youngstown State University. He lives in Lakewood with his wife and two children.
