SUBSCRIPTIONS will not be available this season.

STUDENT TICKETS (for youth and college students) are available for no charge (except for the annual holiday pops concert, available for $5 each). All student tickets must be purchased in-person at the FSO Office or at the door on the day of the event to receive this discounted rate. A valid student I.D. is also required for all students over the age of 18 at the time of purchase.

 

COVID POLICY

The FSO joins other orchestras and arts organizations around the country by instituting every precaution to keep its musicians and audiences safe and healthy. As part of its plan, the FSO announces its mandatory COVID vaccination and mask policy which requires the following:


Guests will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination at EVERY event.

  • Touchless verification using the CLEAR App.
  • Show original vaccination card or photocopy/photograph of it, AND a valid driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.

Full vaccination must be completed at least two weeks prior to the performance date.


Children and unvaccinated individuals:

  • Must present documentation of a negative PCR COVID test AND a matching photo I.D. at EVERY event.

Test must have been completed within 72 hours prior to the performance date.


Every guest is required to wear a face covering.

  • Coverings are to be worn at all times & in all areas of the venue, including during the performance.
  • Coverings must be worn properly, covering the nose and mouth.
  • Neck gaiters and bandanas are NOT permitted.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE GIVEN.

      Hope for a New World

    • Description
      The first classical concert of the season offers a range of music highlighting light and happiness to curb the mid-winter blues, including Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”. The full orchestra will be joined by guest artist Sterling Elliot, winner of the Senior Division of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition. This gifted cellist will perform Saint-Saëns’ Havanaise, and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody.

      The Essence of Beethoven (Chorale Concert)
    • Description
      Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of one of the world’s most prolific composers: Ludwig Van Beethoven. With the FSO Chorale and Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Shirtz, selections will include “Hallelujah Chorus” from Christ on the Mount of Olives, Mass in C Major, op. 86, and “Joyful, Joyful” from Symphony No. 9.

      Melodic Languages of Love

    • Description
      Guest violinists Ilya Kaler (the only violinist to win the Gold Medal at three prestigious international competitions) & Olga Kaler (renowned soloist, chamber musician, and artist-teacher) join the FSO for a passionate and romantic journey to other lands. The program features international songs of devotion from Russia to Spain, such as Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Suite, to de Falla’s El Amor Brujo (The Love Wizard), and a special orchestration of Moszkowski’s Suite for Two Violins and Piano, adapted for the full orchestra by Maestro Carl Topilow.

      Venture Into Nature

    • Description
      Join the FSO and Martín García García (first prize winner at the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition) for an outdoor trek from the forest to the sea. Audiences will be transported on an excursion exploring the beauty of nature with pieces such as Copland’s An Outdoor Overture, Dvorak’s In Nature’s Realm, and Gliere’s Russian Sailors’ Dance.

FSO Ticketing Policies

  • Payment

    Payment is due at the time of ticket reservation or purchase. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Our box office also accepts cash or personal check with a valid photo ID. There are no additional fees for our patrons to use the online ticketing system, or to pay with credit card.

  • Ticket Delivery

    1. Print At Home: print your tickets at home and bring them with you to the event.
    2. Will-Call: select this option to have us hold your tickets for pick-up at the event.
    3. US Mail: for an additional $3.00 fee, have your tickets mailed to you after purchase. Tickets must be purchased at least two weeks prior to the event for mailing.
    4. Take Home: If purchasing your tickets in person at our box office, we can hold your tickets at will-call or print them for you to take home.

  • Event Arrival

    Please arrive early enough to the event to allow time to claim your tickets, and be seated in advance of the start of the performance. Once the performance has begun, late arrivals may be delayed in seating.

  • Sold Out Events

    In the event of a sold out event, our box office will begin a waitlist one hour prior to the start of the performance. If tickets are returned before the performance begins, they will be offered for purchase to the waitlist patrons in the order they were added to the list.

  • Refund & Exchange

    Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If requested with at least 72 hours notice before the event, exchanges may be available for other events, but are not guaranteed. Possible exchanges may include additional fees or higher ticket prices.
